A muscle car nestled in powered towers of Techno City.
Not parked but waiting. Waiting for it to kick back in. The speakers, towerlike monuments, battered over time, still stand tall/ proud, they've been through a lot. Casting over the city is concrete, wood, steel encased bass bins, interlocked with skyscrapers where underground legands were born. Exposed power lines without shame feed Metro Detroit with that city hummm.
The car exists as a reminder of the Motor City roots. The speakers remain as monuments.
Detroit endures as the home of techno.
