Funk It!
$600.00
Funk It! captures the feeling of a Dodge SRT Hellcat charging down Woodward Avenue, with the surrounding city transformed into an enormous wall of speakers, celebrating Detroit’s music heritage. The buildings become part of the sound system, exaggerating the energy, bass, and spectacle of Detroit car culture and the birthplace of techno.
Created as the visual inspiration for the promotional artwork for the Brook Does Pontiac solo exhibition, the Roadkill Nights pre-party, and the first annual Brook Does Pontiac event.
Original mixed-media artwork
